The relationship between paranoid personality disorder and emotional maturity and self-esteem among female students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between paranoid personality disorder and emotional maturity and self-esteem in female students. The research method used was descriptive correlation. The statistical population of the present study included female students of Islamic Azad University in Gonbad-e-Kavos city in 1398-1397. That number is 1750 people. Was. The sample size was calculated using Morgan's table of 313 people who were selected by cluster random sampling method. To collect data, the Affective Maturity Questionnaire (JMSS) and Springhava (EMS), Cooper Smith Self-Esteem Questionnaire (SEI), Personality Disorder Questionnaire in Oxford and based on DSM-VI-TR criteria have been used. For data analysis, Pearson correlation and multivariate regression were used using SPSS 21 software. The results of the main hypothesis showed that paranoid personality disorder and emotional maturity can predict the self-esteem of female students. The results of sub hypothesis showed that there is a significant relationship between paranoid personality disorder and emotional stress with self-esteem of female students.
