Abstract
The theme of the tree in Iranian graphic arts is a privileged place. This point, when it comes to the subject of psychology and the functions of painting such as tree and flowers, and on the other hand the color of the carpet, comes to the subject of psychology of scientific and artistic composition. So that the trees of the garden are different with the forest trees and trees that are chosen for romantic spaces, this subject, in addition to the biological conditions, represents a psychological subject based on mental health, and the artist wants to make these images fit in imaginings Considering the circumstances of life in the past, it also takes into account its attitude and tendency, even the one who chooses the carpet for shopping has a common sense. In addition, the tree has a high rank in ethnic thought and cultural anthropology, reflecting the attitude of a tribe and tribe to the tree and its beliefs. This paper is aimed at understanding the psychological function of tree designs in Tabriz carpet. The research method used in this paper is descriptive. The statistical society of this paper consists of 5 roles of Tabriz carpets.
