Designing goals based on the development of futures studies in the curriculum of higher education in Iran

Abstract

Future and future studies are very important, because we can not postpone its occurrence. According to experts, higher education is one of the most influential institutions on the formation of futures studies through curriculum. Future studies can be promoted by changing the curriculum components. This research is aimed at designing the goals of the Futurist Development Extension in Higher Education, which was carried out in a qualitative way using a field method. In this research, 14 experts from the curriculum and future studies were interviewed. The full text of the statements of respondents was executed from the recorded text, and in the codification process the views presented were separated into separate concepts, and then the concepts were grouped into separate categories and the component of the goals was identified as the main category of the research. In the final model, the barriers, strategies and outcomes were presented for development of future curriculum development curriculum goals separately in analytical models.
