Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between rumination and marital conflicts in people referring to counseling center in Gonbad city in 1396. This research is descriptive-correlative research based on the nature of the subject and the desired goals. The statistical society consists of 380 couples who, referring to Morgan's table, have come to the center of family intervention and family counseling in the city of Gonbad in the year 96 due to extreme conflicts both in the normal way and by the judiciary. 191 cases were selected by simple random sampling. The required data of the research were standard questionnaires. In this research, two questionnaires were used for questioning rumination questionnaire Nullen Hoeksamomaro (1991) and Marital Conflict Questionnaire (MCQ-R). To analyze the information, descriptive statistics were used to fit the data. Descriptive statistics techniques such as central indexes and dispersion were first described, then by using inferential statistics techniques, including prototypes Because of correlation and regression, research hypotheses were tested by SPSS software. Meanwhile, the normality of the data was examined by Gulmogrov-Smirnov test. The results of the research hypotheses showed that there is a significant relationship between rumination and marital conflicts.
