The Effect of Sand play and Cup Stacking on Social Skills and hand- eye coordination in children 4-6 years old

Abstract:

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Sand play and Cup Stacking on Social Skills and hand- eye coordination in children 4-6 years old. method: Forty boys and girls 4 to 6 year old volunteers who did not participate regularly in the Cup Stacking and Sand play, played randomly into four groups in ten person each groups, then played for eight weeks at the Cup Stacking and Sand play and Combination These two games were played. Results: Only eight weeks of the Sand play a significant role in increasing the social skills of children, and eight weeks in Cup Stacking and combined game did not significantly affect the social skills of children. The eight week of sand play, the Cup Stacking and the combination game, made a significant increase in the hand- eye coordination. Conclusion: The results of the research show that social skills of children are more influenced by group games such as sand play, and according to the results, all three forms of play Leads increase the hand- eye coordination.
