Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of coping styles and emotion regulation in predicting life satisfaction. The present research is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this research includes all people in the 9th district of Mashhad in the first half of 1395. Sampling method In this research, sampling is available. For this purpose, 200 people were selected and completed the life satisfaction questionnaire, stress coping styles and emotional regulation. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis using SPSS-19 software. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between problem-oriented coping (r = 0.289), emotional coping (r = -0.178) and emotional adjustment (r = 0.173) with life satisfaction 05 / 0P˂). Also, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that 16% of variance in satisfaction of couples life is explained by coping styles and emotional adjustment. Also, the results showed that problem-oriented coping (B = .409), emotional coping styles (B = -0.331) and emotional regulation (B = 0.229), respectively, could change satisfaction Significantly predict life in individuals (P? 0.05). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that coping styles and emotional regulation play an important role in predicting people's life satisfaction.
