The Role of authentic leadership in Islamic Azad University students' perceived learning environment

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of authentic leadership and learning environment and students' understanding of environmental education programs. The method of this research is descriptive survey research of correlation type and is among applied research. The target population of all students studying at Azad University of Karaj Branch who study in the second semester of 1395-1396 are 27546 people. Using the Cochran formula, 380 individuals were selected randomly as sample size. Therefore, for the purpose of this research, two original ALQ questionnaires (Olive, Garner and Walmoba, 2005) and perception of the educational environment of Rough et al. (DREEM) (1997) were used to collect the required data. To analyze the data collected in the descriptive section, frequency distribution tables were used. Also, in the inferential part, Pearson correlation coefficient was used. It consisted of a main hypothesis and four hypothesis, the results showed that all research hypotheses that connect the four dimensions of authentic leadership (self-treatment of balanced, transparent relationship, ethical) and perceived learning environment and teaching students investigated Was confirmed. In general, one can say that there is a positive and significant relationship between the authentic leadership and the perception of the students' learning and educational environment.
