Review the challenges and issues in how to design, formulate and organize the content of the curriculum in Iran and compare these challenges with Malaysia

Abstract

The present study seeks to review the considerations of content development with the approach of the learning community and the challenges of higher education and education in this regard. In this qualitative research, the views of 24 experts and school administrators, government universities, were examined through interviews. According to the findings, in compiling content with a learning community approach in priority order, observance of criteria such as: emphasis on content quality rather than quantity, flexible and diverse content content, content fit with the goal of lifelong learner education, content fit with community needs, support It is imperative for the professor to change the content, the use of other learning resources besides the textbook and the participation of the student in the choice of content. Findings indicate that higher education in education and the country faces challenges in meeting these considerations.
