Life skills in preschool education

Abstract

Life skills, personal and social skills that children and young people must learn, so that they can act effectively and competently about themselves and other people and the whole community, and upgrading these skills can be promoted to the level The quality of life affects people. The present research tries to study the importance of pre-school curriculum in the development of life skills. In this research, two groups of students from the first, second and third grades of primary school are selected and research tools are implemented on them. A group of people who have received pre-school education in kindergarten or preparation, and the second group did not have any formal education before the primary school. The statistical population consisted of all first, second and third year students in the city of Amol, who study in the academic year of 1396-1397. The sample group consists of 320 boys and girls, 160 of them have pre-primary experience and 160 have no pre-school experience. Sampling method is a stratified random sampling. The samples were selected based on three areas of north, center and south of the city. At first, the subjects of the two groups were selected from among the statistical population and randomly, two groups were selected and evaluated. The results of this study showed that pre-primary education could not significantly change the mental-motor skills of children.
