Relationship between family behavior control and academic achievement of high school students

Abstract

The quality of education in each age depends on the people who are responsible for it, and the family's behavior plays a vibrant role. Because the young generation from the first years of life in the early and middle-class family, and perhaps in the next stages, is the way forward for the generations to come. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between family behavior control and academic achievement of high school students. The research is a descriptive survey. The population of all high school students in Qom was a sample of 380 female high school students. They were selected by random cluster sampling. A standard family function questionnaire was used for collecting data. Also, the second-grade second-grade student grade score is used as a student's academic achievement score. To analyze the data and information, descriptive statistics and stepwise regression analysis were used. The results of regression analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the control of family behavior and the educational progress of female students. Also, the results of regression analysis of variance showed that all subscales were linear in terms of progression and the effect of academic progress on all subscales.
