The Relationship between Schema Modes and Obsessions in Adolescents

Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between schema modes, and obsessions in adolescences.
Method: this is a descriptive-correlation research. Statistical population consisted of all of high school students in Varamin during academic year of 2017 and 350 members were selected convenient sampling method. To collect data, Maudsley Obsessive Compulsive Inventory (MOCI) (1998), Yung’s Schema Modes Questionnaire (2008) were used. The obtained data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Coefficient through SPSS19 Software.
Findings: results showed there is a significant relationship between two groups.
Conclusion: There is a relation between schema modes and obsession.
