Abstract

Development and implementation of accurate agriculture or a specific site agriculture have become possible by combination with global positioning system (GPS) of geographical information systems (GIS). These technologies enable the data connection in real time with exact positioning information and manipulate and analyze the great amount of geographical data efficiently. The applied programs based on GPS in an accurate and precise agriculture are used for agricultural programming, land surveying, soil sampling, tractor guidance, product monitoring, program variable rates, and product mapping. Production and harvesting relationship was difficult for land varieties in the past. This matter limited farmers to develop the most effective sol/plant treatment methods to increase their products, today, more comprehensive and precise programs have been possible for pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers and better control of the dispersal of these chemicals by reducing costs, producing a higher yield, and creating a more environmentally friendly farm. The comprehensive systems can be defined and designed using modern technologies such as GPS which optimize agricultural production operations through using product information, product, developed technology, and operations management.
